1. Why the programme exists
CHINCHILLA agents are free and open (CC BY 4.0). Many people and organisations need help to choose agents, deploy them, train their teams and check the results. The Partner Programme brings together specialists who do this honestly, under one open methodology, and lists them in a public registry.
2. Who can become a partner
- integrators and developers who deploy AI agents;
- consultancies;
- teachers and trainers;
- independent professionals (freelancers).
Partners may work in any country. The programme is organised around the six UN language groups — Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish: each partner states the language groups in which they serve clients and the countries where they operate.
3. Levels
- Partner. Has completed introductory training at the CHINCHILLA Academy, signed the ethics and attribution pledge, and is listed in the partner registry.
- Certified Partner. Has also passed the methodology exam and submitted a demonstration project reviewed by CHINCHILLA.
- Certified Builder. A Certified Partner who has passed the builder exam and has at least one agent they built awarded the "CHINCHILLA Verified" mark by an independent grader. Only this level may submit agents for verification on behalf of clients.
4. Requirements
- Training and exam at the CHINCHILLA Academy. The curriculum and schedule are published when enrolment opens.
- Demonstration project (Certified Partner and above): a real or training task solved with CHINCHILLA agents, describing the task, the configuration, how the result was checked, and the attribution. No client personal data is included.
- Ethics and attribution pledge: to respect the ethical limits of the methodology (section 16), to credit CHINCHILLA under CC BY 4.0, and never to present the agents as one's own development.
- Compliance with local law is the partner's own responsibility. Partners contract with their clients under the law of their own country and are responsible for their taxes, licences, data protection and the quality of their services.
5. Partner obligations
- Describe your level truthfully and never present yourself as an employee, branch or agent of CHINCHILLA.
- Never call an agent verified unless it is in the public registry with a valid certificate for that version.
- Never sell free agents as your own product. Partners may charge for their own services (deployment, configuration, training, support), but the agents remain free and attributed.
- Report critical agent failures found at clients to CHINCHILLA, without passing on personal data.
- Disclose any conflict of interest when assessing or recommending solutions in which you have an interest.
- Take refresher training when a new version of the methodology is released.
6. The partner mark
A partner may display the partner mark only for their own level, linked to their registry entry and in line with the Badge rules. The partner mark does not mean that the partner's agents or services have been verified by CHINCHILLA.
7. Public partner registry
The registry shows: name or organisation, level, language groups, countries of operation, the contact details the partner has agreed to publish, date of listing, expiry and status. An entry is valid for 12 months and is renewed after refresher training.
8. Suspension and removal
Grounds: misuse of the mark, false statements about one's level or about agent verification, breach of the ethical limits, false information in the application, or an established breach of the law in work with clients. The decision and its reason are shown in the registry. Appeals are made in writing within 30 days and are reviewed by a person who took no part in the first decision.
9. Terms
- Nothing is sold on this website. Terms of participation are available on request.
- CHINCHILLA is not a party to contracts between a partner and the partner's clients.
- The programme gives no exclusivity, no reserved territories and no guaranteed flow of clients.
